Medical Devices Firm Takes Bronze Medal for Sustainability

A medical devices provider has been awarded the Bronze Medal for sustainability from EcoVadis, a leading provider of business sustainability ratings.

Frontier Medical Group, based in Tredegar, said the award placed it among the top global companies recognised for their commitment to sustainable business practices. The rating was evaluated across 21 criteria in four key areas: Environment, Labour and Human Rights, Ethics, and Sustainable Procurement.

Matthew Bambery, COO of Frontier Medical Group, said:

“Sustainability is at the core of our mission at Frontier Medical Group, and this award validates the efforts of our entire team to operate responsibly and ethically. We are committed to continuous improvement in all areas of our business to ensure we contribute positively to our community and environment.

“We are particularly proud to gain this recognition after recently opening our new Innovation lab to achieve our strategic goals of launching new solutions for healthcare workers and patients globally, as well as bringing our new consumer comfort range, Enora® air-powered products, to market. We have been at the forefront of medical engineering for more than 25 years, and it is fantastic to be recognised for our commitment to sustainability as we continue to create innovative healthcare products.”
