The platform will be managed and maintained by the award-winning team from Business News Wales and will be promoted to over 20,000 Business News Wales readers and subscribers, every day.

A supporting ‘industry focused’ engagement campaign will reach an estimated 70% of major employers and 80% of senior civil servants and politicians throughout Wales in 2023.

Green Economy Wales will provide a fact based, independent and impartial news and collaboration platform for all working in this fast-moving sector.

Mark is a passionate Welshman and Business Journalist originating from Milford Haven, Pembrokeshire.

With over 25 years’ experience in the communications and publishing sector, Mark is the Managing Director and editor of both Business News Wales and Green Economy Wales.

He has very strong business ethics, built on transparency and trust and enjoys close working relationships with all his clients and partners.

Carwyn was First Minister of Wales from 2009 to 2018. Born in Swansea, he was raised in Bridgend.

He now works in higher education, business and media with various public speaking engagements.

Roger Hiscott is as freelance business consultant who has run his own successful consultancy business for over 20 years. 

He works with executive and senior leadership teams to sharpen existing, or create innovative new high-level strategies.

He is currently heavily involved in the renewable energy sector (Energy production, hydrogen, energy reclamation and retrofit amongst others), circular economy, various Medtech projects and modern manufacturing methods.
