A cleantech start-up based in Monmouth, has launched its innovative online Carbon Reduction Plan (CRP) tool.
The digital platform from Gopher Zero is designed to help small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) meet the rising demand for sustainability reporting and stay competitive in a net-zero economy.
The firm said the tool meant that in as little as 30 minutes, SMEs can create a compliant, public-facing CRP, hitting a key requirement for bidding on public sector contracts and partnering with larger companies.
“Pressure is building on SMEs to show a clear plan for net zero,” said Mat Thomson, Co-founder of Gopher Zero. “Our tool helps small businesses win business and empowers them to plan confidently for an affordable route to net zero.”
Tim O’Callaghan of Electric Places Corby, said:
“Gopher Zero has saved the SMEs we’ve worked with the challenge of creating Carbon Reduction Plans from scratch. Gopher’s calculations deliver a clear, actionable five-year roadmap for cutting emissions.”
The firm said the tool provides actionable insights and recommendations to accelerate sustainability, including around energy savings, electric vehicle transition and solar investment. It can also help to show the business case for clean technology investments, the firm said.
