LCP Partners with Mer to Deliver Electric Vehicle Charging at M Parc Fforestfach

National commercial property and investment company, LCP, part of M Core, has partnered with Mer, a charge point operator, to deliver a network of EV charging stations at M Parc Fforestfach retail park in Swansea.

Planning permission for the new public charging infrastructure, which will include five ultra-rapid EV charging points, has now been secured, with construction work set to commence shortly.

Adam Martin, Director and Head of LCP Bristol Office, said:

“We are delighted to partner with Mer to bring this state-of-the-art charging infrastructure to M Parc Fforestfach.

“This investment demonstrates our commitment to providing sustainable and convenient solutions for visitors to the retail destination. The new EV charging points will significantly enhance the visitor experience and support the growing adoption of electric vehicles.”

Alex Hinchcliffe, Managing Director at Mer UK, added:

“We are excited to be partnering with LCP on this project. Our aim is to make EV charging accessible for everyone as demand for electric vehicles continues to grow. By installing these ultra-rapid chargers at M Parc Fforestfach, we are helping to reduce range anxiety and make sure the retail destination accommodates to a wide range of customers.”
