Green Economy Wales spoke with Katherine Henderson Bowen, who runs a small hospitality business in Manorbier, Pembrokeshire, called Sea Breeze Beach House. We spoke to Katherine about her sustainability journey and why smaller businesses can implement small changes that can make a difference in your local community.
Sea Breeze Beach House is a self catered architect designed unique eco cabin, set in its own secluded private garden. The cabin is made of wood with oak cladding with a sedum and grass roof. Large Bi-fold doors open onto a patio where there is an outdoor dining space and two sun loungers within its own private garden. The interior of the cabin is a studio with a simple Scandinavian style. It has a light, open plan, uncluttered feel with a small kitchenette, sitting area, standard double wall bed with a pocket sprung mattress and a shower room en-suite.
It is ideally suited for a couple wanting a romantic private hideaway and they will be able to wake up to the sound of the sea. It is situated in the beautiful coastal village of Manorbier. The cabin is a three minute walk to Manorbier Castle, The sandy beach and the award winning Pembrokeshire Coast Path are a six minute away from the Sea Breeze Beach House.
