RenewableUK Unveils its Global Offshore Wind 2024 Conference

RenewableUK has unveiled its Global Offshore Wind 2024 conference, set to reconvene at Manchester Central from June 18th to 19th, 2024.

This conference gathers industry stalwarts, innovators, and key policymakers to discuss the maturing offshore wind sector. It's an unparalleled opportunity to network, tackle pressing issues, dive into the latest technological advancements, and forge essential strategic alliances.

The event will be of interest to an array of Welsh organisations following the recent announcement from the Crown estate that up to 5,300 new jobs and up to £1.4 billion could be generated for the UK economy by galvanising the supply chain and infrastructure opportunities arising from the development of new floating wind farms off the coast of South Wales and South West England.

The agenda for the conference will cover a range of pivotal themes, including:

  • Enhancing the supply chain's efficiency,
  • Fostering investment in nurturing a future-ready workforce,
  • Advancing through digital transformation,
  • Ensuring grid resilience and seamless integration,
  • Advancements in floating offshore wind technology,
  • Promoting growth that is both sustainable and responsible.
