As part of an ongoing ‘ meet the developer series’, Green Economy Wales talks to Scott Harper, Director of Floventis Energy about the joint venture between Cierco Energy and SBM Offshore that is developing 200MW off the Pembrokeshire coast.
In this first interview, Scott tells us about Llyr 1&2, the two test and demonstration arrays in the Celtic Sea, and the opportunities for Wales to build its own supply chain for offshore wind. He says we’ve got to make the most of the economic opportunity over the next 10-12 years and the legacy that will bring for our communities.
